Installation Notes

Non-returnable after use or modification.

On some older models that have a existing small baffle, there is no need to remove the existing baffle. This heat deflector plate sits on the existing small baffle.

There is a small cross bar near the fire box. This baffle needs to slide under the cross bar. Due to manufacturer design changes, some Brazos smokers have mounting posts for the cross bar. In this situation, the plate MUST be modified to get past the cross bar mount posts. If you have this on your Brazos, you will need to cut/modify the baffle plate to get past those bars. Once you modify this plate, it is non-returnable. If you are unable to cut metal, then please verify which you have before ordering. (please see pics).

Do not use the included side triangle ears, they are not needed.
