The plates are solid and easy to install. Once installed the temps on both sides of my smoker were within 5-10 degrees of each other. Prior to this it was off by as much as 60. Really does the job. I did not bolt mine in to the smoker just because I want access underneath to clean but this is an option. Great customer service too.

Absolutely awesome and heavy piece of metal. I can not agree with the other 5 star ratings and suggest that everyone who has one of these smokers buy this product. It is worth every penny.

This guys dont go cheap on what they build! Heavy gauge steel! It will help with my temp issues! Fits well, but I'm not drilling in my smoker ... It sits well enought with out any additionel bolts! Fast an reliable shipping! Thank's!

My OK Joes Longhorn has been transformed! I got the gasket kit and the Baffle plate.. Did my first smoke on Father’s Day and wow! No more losing smoke from everywhere. The tuning plate is the best thing I could have done . Before there was 50 degrees difference end to end. Yesterday I smoked 3 racks of ribs and 2 whole chickens and 10 brats. Once I got it to temperature it ranged from 0 to 5 degrees the whole smoke. Very happy.

plates installed great...BUT you need to make sure that the top 4 smoke box bolts are installed nut side in smoke box. other wise plate wont sit as tight to fire box side. other than that great product cant wait to smoke !!!
