FireDial™ Heat Management Diffuser Plate. Three sizes available for use with WSM 14.5, 18.5 or 22.5" Weber Smokey Mountains. ***NO MORE WATER PAN*** Eliminates the need for a messy water pan that's tough to keep full. Much improved smoke and flavor! Longer burn time, quicker startups, better efficiency and rock solid temps.
LavaLock® diffuser plates convert direct heat from the charcoal basket to indirect heat. Disperses heat, reduces hot spots and burn marks. Meat will cook much more evenly. Cuts down on fuel consumption and reduces flare ups do to open lid conditions. Additionally, this baffle acts as a flavorizer, as fat drippings no longer get lost in the water bowl. This heat management system is a much have.
Dial tabs can be bent up to customize max airflow and then adjusted with the intake dampers on your WSM.

The Fire Dial will result in EVEN cook temps for the entire cook. Will hold rock steady with no adjustments once your coals are up to temp. Results in less fuel consumption & quicker starts. The Heat Diffuser Plate may be placed on the existing brackets just below the bottom grate level, where the water pan sits. This is a DIRECT fit for your wsm. Helps attain solid cooks with a low & slow cooking method. LavaLock® The water pan is no longer needed, but can be easily put back if desired. This baffle plate allows the meat to cook in its own juices. We recommend seasoning with cooking oil. Great price, get yours! Select the dial by your cooker size (14.5, 18.5 or 22.5"). The Fire Dial will equalize temps across your WSM. Our smoker had probes throughout, lower grate upper grate and probe port. All the temps are very even as expected! (see pictures)
